Ok, but could be cheaper.
Price comes out to $2.30cu/ft. + $50 Delivery. You can get bagged topsoil from a box store for about the same, granted you'd be making many many trips if you need a significant amount.

The ordering process and delivery was easy. The guys driving the trucks were very nice and happily placed the totes where I asked. I bought 6 totes to spread across my lawn, to fill in the many divots and otherwise even the grade. It was mostly debris-free but there was probably a few good handfuls of gravel in each tote that revealed themselves as watering settled the soil. The soil was not very rich so I would advise you fertilize well for grass seed to take. Overall, I was satisfied and would buy from central sod again.

  • How much area does a 2000 lb bag of soil cover?
That depends how thick you want to cover the area. If you go to http://www.plantsod.com/garden-soil-and-compost.html you can use the calculator that is on that page to see how many you would need for a given thickness. Thanks!
